Rainbow Haven’s Painting Holiday
with Janet Bligh and friends

It will be Rainbow Haven’s 12th year of hosting their painting holiday at Glynhir. Their intention is that the week should be a holiday so that painters of all abilities can relax and enjoy the experience. Janet on hand to give demonstrations, help and guidance. Watercolour, chroma colour, gouache, ink & wash and pastels will be used but the main emphasis will be on watercolour.

Janet is keen to ensure that there is ample time, during each day, for participants to paint and it is for this reason that group tuition, for those who wish it, is restricted to the first half of the mornings leaving the rest of the day for painting. Demonstrations, by request, are available during the evenings. A wide selection of videos is also available

This year, granted good weather, they intend visiting local sites such as the National Botanic Gardens of Wales and The Gardens of Aberglasney, as well as the grounds and buildings of Glynhir and other venues, from which it is hoped participants will find plenty of inspiration for their work.

Non-painting partners and friends are always welcome

The Cost: The price is based on full board accommodation and tuition commencing with dinner on the Saturday evening. All rooms are single occupancy (double and twin rooms are available)

Partners may enjoy walking in the beautiful grounds of Glynhir or the slopes of the nearby Black Mountain and Brecon Beacons National Park. Golfing breaks and Garden Visit packages also available.
